| INFORMATION |
Established for over 30 years at the Armidale PCYC, Garry Taylor has continued the traditions of the Zen Bu Kan Kempo Karate Culture. Garry is the third recorded Black Belt of Grandmaster Les Harnos, the founder of Zen Bu Kan Kempo Karate and holds a Black Belt in Ju-Jitsu.
Over the years Armidale dojo members have participated in competitions and demonstrations establishing high benchmarks and continue to rank highly in all areas of endeavor (World and Local arena's).
The club has consistent attendance from higher level brown belts made up of a mixture of juniors and seniors with a number
of lower grade belt holders (senior and junior) rising through the ranks. The experience and knowledge is shared and everyone can participate with an interesting training session.
The club has a relaxed training environment, with a emphasis on safety, technique and defence. Training starts with warm-ups and fitness component leading onto defence techniques and training changes from night to night with sparring work, holds and take downs, combinations with a partner, throws, locks and ground work all having a share of interest for everyone. |
